Refund & Cancellation Policy

2. Monthly plans

Monthly plans run month to month. To cancel, email support@askmyseo.com at any time. The plan continues until the end of the month you've paid for, then stops. There's no notice period beyond that, no cancellation fee and no minimum term. We don't refund a month once it has started, but you keep the service for the rest of it. If you cancel before your first month's work has started, you get the first month back in full.

3. One-off packages (audits, technical sprints and GEO audits)

• Before work starts: you can cancel for any reason and we'll refund you in full.
• After work starts: if you're a consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period (see section 5). Once we've delivered the finished report or work, the service is complete and it can't be refunded, unless it didn't match what we sold you (see section 6).
• If your site is larger than the package: we'll tell you before we start. You can pay the difference, choose a different package or cancel for a full refund.

4. Consulting hours and booked sessions

You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the session. We refund the full price. If you cancel or don't attend within 24 hours of the session, we keep 50% of the session price and refund the rest. If we need to cancel or move a session, we'll rebook it, or refund you in full if you prefer.

5. 14-day cooling-off period for consumers

If you're buying as an individual, not for your business, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of placing your order without giving a reason. This right comes from Irish and EU consumer law, including the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

• If you ask us to start within the 14 days, you must confirm that at checkout. If you then cancel, you pay for the service provided up to the time you tell us, in proportion to the full price. We refund the rest.
• If the service has been fully provided, and you asked us to start within the 14 days and acknowledged you'd lose the right to cancel once it's complete, you can no longer cancel.

This right doesn't apply when you're buying for your business.

6. If something's wrong with what we delivered

If our work doesn't match what we described, or wasn't done with reasonable care and skill, tell us within 30 days of delivery. We'll put it right at no cost. If we can't, or you'd prefer, we'll refund part or all of the price, depending on how much of the service fell short. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Not getting the ranking, traffic or sales you hoped for isn't a defect in itself, because we don't guarantee results. See the Terms of Service.

7. How to ask

Email support@askmyseo.com with your order reference (it starts with AMS-) and what you'd like to do. We acknowledge within 1 working day.

8. How refunds are paid

We refund to the card or method you paid with, within 14 days of agreeing to refund you. For a cooling-off cancellation, we refund within 14 days of your telling us you've cancelled. Refunds can take a few more days to appear, depending on your bank.
